SUMMARY:Chestnut Ridge 2026 Classic 4 Courses
DESCRIPTION:Event Format: This regular orienteering event is designed for all experience levels\, casual hikers\, families and groups. Four courses will be available: white (beginner)\, yellow (advanced beginner)\, orange (intermediate) and red (advanced). \n  \nLocation:  Shelter 20\, Chestnut Ridge Park\, 6121 Chestnut Ridge Road\, Orchard Park  (42.714749968064325\, -78.76745348650506)  Find on Google Maps \n  \nTime: Participants may check in at Shelter 20 starting at 10:30 a.m.\, and may begin a course at any time from 11 a.m. to noon. The time limit is 3 hours. \n  \nCost: The event fee is $5 for members of any orienteering club or $10 for non-members. Juniors (20 and under) who are part of a BFLO family membership participate for free; otherwise\, the fee is $5. Children 11 and under participate for free but must be registered by a parent. Not a member? Join today! \n  \nRegistration: Online pre-registration is strongly encouraged and will guarantee a map for you. The pre-registration deadline is 11 p.m. Thursday\, June 11. Note: Each member of a group must register and sign a waiver. Contact the event director if your group is larger than 4 people. \n  \nInstruction: If this is your first time orienteering and you would like to attend a beginner’s briefing\, there is a place to indicate that in the online registration process.
