DESCRIPTION:No orienteering\,  just a trail run around the beautiful grounds of Knox Farm State Park. Register in the Milking Parlor\, near the main entrance parking lot off Route 16\, from 5:30 pm-6:15 pm. No T-shirt\, just running. Starting time for the race is 6:30 pm. DESCRIPTION:Event #1 of the Get Out There and Get Started Series \nA fun orienteering event celebrating spring in one of Buffalo’s renowned Olmsted parks. Travel one 2.8 kilometer course around Delaware Park including the History Museum\, Hoyt Lake\, Marcy Casino\, Rose Garden\, Rumsey Woods\, Mirror Lake and the Japanese Garden. \nRegister and start at 11:00 am near the Buffalo History Museum on Nottingham Terrace near Elmwood Avenue. SUMMARY:Annual Meeting and Open House
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Stohrer Lodge in Emery Park for a general meeting and open house.  The general membership meeting will include some club news\, recognition of map hike completions and a review of the upcoming season. \nIf you haven’t participated in an orienteering meet or are not a dues paying member but want to see what orienteering is all about you are welcome to join us!  The open house format will allow you to meet some club members\, take a look at orienteering maps and participate in an orienteering activity.  It’s a great opportunity to see what the club offers. \nThe festivities start at noon.  There will be signs to find your way to Stohrer Lodge.  The club will provide hot dogs.  We ask that you bring a dish to share like munchies\, salads\, desserts etc. \nRSVP to Rob Reeves\, or (716) 930-1821.
